Hey Fashionistas!

I am so excited to tell you about my first barre experience! Since my month of boxing is over I thought I should balance everything out with something that focuses on different muscles. Although both are practically full body workouts I can tell I am using different muscles because I was a different kind of sore the next day. I was so nervous to try barre because I am the least graceful person there is. I am a bit awkward when I workout because I like to laugh at myself when I mess up! Everyone is always so serious (which is fine) but I feel too much pressure when Im that serious while working out. I apologize for the quality of the photos. It started raining when I took these!Top: Marshalls

Barre is a ballet based workout. My instructor also infused pilates, cardio and jazz type moves as well. She was exactly what I thought a typical instructor would be like! She had high energy and kept snapping haha it made me laugh but really she was extremely sweet. Don't get me wrong she pushed me until I was dripping sweat and shaking, but she was still encouraging!Pants: PINK by Victoria Secret (Similar)

Sports Bra: H&M

You don't need shoes for this type of workout. I did buy these socks that had grips on the bottom and padding so I won't hurt my feet when Im tip toeing around. I will link those down below. Also, I had my hair in a ponytail, but I would recommend a nice bun or a braid because it was in my face the whole time. If you have shorter hair ignore that. haha Also, I did not wear any makeup because its a workout! Its so nice to go workout without worrying if my makeup is running from all the sweat! Plus most of the girls have minimal to no makeup anyway. Do you girl! Overall, I loved barre! The studio I went to also offered pole dancing, ballet and stretching for their students. Everyone there seemed really close, but they were so welcoming! I hate when I feel like I'm interrupting some workout club! haha Anyway, I am going to list accessories I would recommend when attending a barre class.
