Baijeot

Hey Fashionistas!

I am overjoyed to show you my friend's Spring line of ponchos and jewelry! Lena Sakadjian is such a free spirit, inspirational, girl boss. I knew she was talented the moment I met her years ago at an aerial class. I wanted to show you all her Etsy store and vintage store because while it is within my broke girl budget, it is also made with love. When I spent the day (the WHOLE day) with her shooting for this I was able to see the passion she has for her work. Everything from where she likes to buy material, to her future plans for Baijeot. Go ahead and see for yourself:

"Baijeot is my grandmothers maiden name. I just always thought the name Baijoet was pretty. My grandmother was an inspiration to me growing up and to this day. That woman could sew everything and anything! She was always so well dressed and so stylish with her attire." -Lena"I've always been into art and making things with my hands since I was a wee beh-beh! The ponchos/jewelry came about when I was hanging out with my long time gals. We'd get together every Wednesday to bond and be creative. I liked long, flowy oversized tops because it just felt comfortable and different than most ponchos I've seen. You still feel elegant whether you are going for a casual look or dressing it up. It is very versatile. As for the jewelry, the rocks go well with the ponchos and I believe that they give off energy." -Lena"Next up, def more, pretty ponchos comin' at cha! As well as maternity, men's ponchos and kiddie ponchos! I am looking forward to getting my ponchos into boutiques. I'd also really love to host my own event/fashion show in the near future!" -Lena"The best part of having this company is that no one can tell you what to do! I am free to create whenever and however I want." -Lena"I find inspiration for the ponchos in nature, music and travel." -Lena
