Hey Fashionistas!

How was your weekend? Did you do anything for Earth Day? I wanted to buy a succulent for Earth Day just to show my appreciation. I already recycle and I started to use a refillable bottle for water so I thought buying a plant to take care of would be a great next step. Now, if you follow my blog you'll know I am a plant killer, but I am trying! In my hometown there has been a nursery that has been in business for over 50 years. Of course, being a plant killer I did not realize this little piece of heaven until now.

My intentions were to get a succulent because we are in a drought in California, but once I spotted a little pot with a sunflower I just could not resist...I had to get it. Sunflowers are my weakness and I have always wanted to plant one in my yard. Long story short, we almost bought an avocado tree haha but didn't, instead we opted for a small sunflower, a succulent, and these purple flowers that match my mothers flowers in the backyard. I would say our trip was successful.
