Modern Church Outfit
Hey Fashionistas!
I'm so excited to post this blog today because I finally get to post photos with my new camera! I wanted to post a church outfit because whenever I look up "church outfits" on Pinterest I get outfits I'd wear for a 50s costume. Honestly, dressing up for church is not what it used to be. Before it was your "Sunday best" and it still is, but more modernized. Let me explain before I offend anyone. For every church I have been to, everyone is dressed in their own unique style. Even for me, I normally dress according to my mood. Sometimes I dress edgy, girly or comfy. Either way I am there to serve the Lord and worship him. Oh! I can't forget the family time. As we got older it is harder to see everyone at the same time, so church is another way for all of us to be together and what better way, then to listen to a good message? Shout out to Pastor Jack!
Anyway, my point of this ramble is that everyone still dresses nice, but sometimes Sunday is your only day off and you just want to be comfortable for a day. With that, my outfits are always comfortable, but dressy enough to be presentable for church. I hope I did not lose you. Let me show you:
Romper: G Stage (They don't carry mine anymore, but I linked it to the romper section and I had to hold myself back from buying 5 more rompers...seriously check it out! So cute)
Jean Jacket: Marshalls
Wedges: TOMS from Red E Surf Shop
Wand: Beachwaver from Sarah Potempa
The landscaping at my church is so beautiful! Sometimes we sit and have coffee afterwards to enjoy each other's company and the scenery. This time, my godson wanted to play with the rocks in the planter so my dad decided to share the story of David and Goliath. It was such a precious moment and luckily I was able to capture it, so my sister would have those photos forever.
My dad spent a good 5 minutes searching for smooth stones for the picture. Maybe that's where I get it from. "It has to be accurate," he says. I must have taken fifty photos, but I don't want to post photos of my godson. (Maybe of my kids one day...in the far, far, future) Thank you Lord for my family, and for the time we spend together.
"Then all this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord's, and He will give you into our hands" 1 Samuel 17:47.

See you Monday fashionistas!
