Dallas, Texas Getaway
Hey Fashionistas!
This weekend was so fun! I was able to travel to Dallas, Texas to spend time with my family and get away from everyday life (except you all, priorities). While we were there my sister and dad went to the Cowboys game, my mom and I took my nephew to the Dallas World Aquarium, and we all drove to Waco, Texas to visit the opening of The Magnolia Market. If you are not familiar with Magnolia, it is owned by Chip and Joanna Gaines from HGTV's Fixer Upper. It was my mom's favorite show, and quickly became all of our favorites. Let's dive in:
I fell in love with Texas! In Texas, there is no traffic, RAIN, dollar something gas, as much American flags as there is Starbucks (Imagine that in LA?) and super polite people. Oh and I cannot forget about the accents. I love how everyone says ya'll I started saying ya'll after the first day. hehe
Deliriously waiting for our plane. I really expected LAX to be crazy, but it was actually pretty calm. I still prefer flying out of the Ontario Airport. Hat: Red E Surf Shop
Lipstick: Covergirl Lipslicks Smoochies "Luv U" #215It's a tradition for my mom, sister and I to have Cran-apple juice. We first discovered it on the way to D.C. and now it's a must! Have you tried it? How are you all on plane rides? I get dizzy at some points, but I love love LOVE looking out the window! Our first stop was to visit AT&T Stadium aka Cowboys Stadium. We wanted to shop before the game so my sister and dad won't get the big crowd the day of. It was so windy!
The next stop, we visiting the street President John F. Kennedy was assassinated. I have always wanted to go there and it was sad, chilling and surreal. There were so many people who were informative about that historic event, and it was great to learn more about our country's history.

Next on the tour was Magnolia Market in Waco, Texas. If you are not familiar with Magnolia, it is owned by Chip & Joanna Gaines from HGTV's Fixer Upper.
My mom was so excited! It was literally all she talked about on the way to Texas and the hour drive to the store. Fixer Upper is her favorite show and after watching a couple episodes with her, it is easily in my favorites list. My mom already knew what she wanted from the online store. She's so cute! SilosI really did feel like I was walking in a Pinterest board. The store is definitely future home goals! There were many backdrops for the perfect photo op!
"Make no mistake we'll live while we're young we'll chase down the sun." Magnolia, we loved your fixer upper! Congratulations to Chip and Joanna and to the city of Waco.The Magnolia cupcakes were delicious too! This one was chocolate cake with coffee frosting. Amazeballs!
Since it was Halloween we had to dress up and trick or treat for my baby nephew. *Wink wink* We all wanted to dress up.We all wore Nasa shirts from Target and Malakai was an astronaut. One of his favorite shows is Miles From Tomorrowland. Blastastic!
...and then it was game day! We dropped off my sister and my dad for the Cowboys vs Seahawks game. My mom, Kai and I went to The Dallas World Aquarium. Isn't my sister so beautiful?! Those eyebrows are always on point!

Boots: MarshallsThat was my Dallas Getaway! We all had so much fun exploring this wonderful city! Everyone is so nice there. We seriously got asked multiple times if we needed help with our bags, stroller, etc. Amazing! What other sites should I visit in Texas? Let me know in the comments below!
